The logical solution to retail processes
The team that built this have been doing online ecommerce for the past decade. One of the biggest pain points that we found with regulated markets and online retailers was getting accurate product imagery and information.
Getting images from brands is a pain. Especially if they are multistate.
Most of the smaller cultivators or processors simply don't have the time to professionally shoot images of their products. If they do, the images can often go into a random Google Drive or Dropbox folder without having the proper naming convention for "brand, product, strain, etc." If they come directly from a camera or a phone, they are often titled "IMG019223421234123."
Those autogenerated titles make it impossible for anyone to remember what the images are related to.
If the images have no title, odds are there is no metadata related to product info... and welcome to the endless cycle of ecommerce hell.
We custom built a WordPress plugin that integrated Cova, Flowhub, Growflow, Korona as well as Biotrack and Metrc. The plugin works great, but we realized that most retailers don't add photos to their POS system.
The journey to find the best resource for product images began. Screenshotting images, and downloading pics from popular platforms wasn't going to work. We needed a better system that allowed us to connect retailers with the correct product info and images they needed to help increase UX, sales and conversions.
And Logic Closet was created.
